Launch of the LusOpenEdition project

"If you'd rather be Portuguese..."The Cléo is happy to announce the start of the LusOpenEdition project, created in partnership with the Cria, a Portuguese anthropology research centre, and financed by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. The aim of the project is to implement, in the next three years, a Portuguese version of the OpenEdition electronic publishing portal in the arts, humanities and social sciences.

The LusOpenEdition project aims to offer the Cléo’s know-how and technologies to a larger research community and to raise the dissimination of research in the Portuguese language. Partnerships with several research centres in the arts, humanities and social sciences are being considered so as to ensure a coverage of each discipline.

Marie Pellen, head of development for Portuguese-language publishing communities, lives in Portugal where she is carrying this project forward. Introductory and training courses relating to our contents are planned, in particular in Lisbon and São Paulo.

Please write to us at contact@revues.org if you wish to suggest Portuguese journals, book series, events or scholarly blogs. You may also propose a meeting, a public presentation or a training course (contact@revues.org).
